CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: 1st September 2025

 

We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled when you book with Gateway Maroc.

 

 

 

1. Cancellations by the Traveler

 

 

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@gatewaymaroc.com.

  • The date we receive your written cancellation will determine the refund amount.

 

 

 

Refund Schedule

 

 

  • More than 30 days before the trip start date – Full refund, minus any non-refundable supplier costs (such as flights, hotel deposits, or special arrangements).

  • 15–30 days before the trip start date – 50% refund of the total booking price.

  • Less than 15 days before the trip start date – No refund.

 

 

Note: Certain services (e.g. flights, specific hotels, third-party activities) may have stricter non-refundable terms. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

 

 

 

2. Changes to Bookings by the Traveler

 

 

  • Requests to change dates, destinations, or services must be made in writing to info@gatewaymaroc.com.

  • We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

 

 

 

 

3. Cancellations by Gateway Maroc

 

 

In rare cases, Gateway Maroc may need to cancel a tour or service due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, political instability, supplier cancellations).

 

In such cases, you will be offered:

 

  • An alternative arrangement of equal value, or

  • A full refund of all payments made to Gateway Maroc.

 

 

We are not responsible for additional costs outside your booking with us (such as flights booked independently).

 

 

 

4. Traveler Responsibilities

 

 

  • It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and health documentation.

  • Failure to meet entry requirements, obtain visas, or provide correct travel information does not entitle the traveler to a refund.

 

 

 

 

5. Refund Processing

 

 

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow up to 14 working days for processing.

  • Bank or card provider processing times may vary.

 

 

 

 

6. Travel Insurance

 

 

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
